摘要:Public service providers need to be creative when facing service challenges. However, such creativity might lead to unethical prosocial behaviours (UPBs), which warrants further study. This study first developed and validated representative UPB scenarios; then empirically tested the relationship between creativity and UPBs using survey data collected from a unique sample of front-line social workers. Results showed that creativity is significantly positively correlated with UPBs. Besides, moral justification mediates the relationship, which is further influenced by individuals' moral identities. This study sheds light on the dark side of creativity and calls for further investigation.
